After a one-year hiatus, we can announce that we’re once again hosting the Hayward Lions Big Cup Golf Benefit on Friday, June 11th. Pertinent details can be found below.
This is always a fun event, and we look forward to continuing the tradition this June!
We’re currently in the process of beginning to finalize the field for the Spring Challenge 2-person match play event running this spring. 20 teams have signed-up so far, and we’re looking to fill out the participants up to 32 teams. It will be a really fun variation of our Northwoods Match Play format, so if you’re on the fence, consider jumping in and joining the excitement!
Also, we wanted to remind everyone about the Membership we’re currently offering with Swing King for the Hole-in-One contest being held on our third hole through the season. Each time you play, you’ll have a shot at a designated prize amount. Any and all proceeds received by Hayward Golf Club through the offering of this package will go directly towards our on-course improvement fund.
Membership Tiers
Par — $100 for the chance to win $2,500.
Birdie — $175 for the chance to win $5,000.
Eagle — $300 for the chance to win $10,000.

Hayward Golf Club is thrilled to invite all aspiring young golfers to our 6-week-long junior golf clinic. The program is designed to give juniors the opportunity to learn about all aspects of the game, and will include 4 separate playing stations: putting, chipping, pitching, and full swing. Additionally, our knowledgeable and experienced teaching staff provides a golf course knowledge station and mini par 3 course.
• Program runs every Thursday afternoon between 1-3PM from June 10th to July 15th.
• Aimed at ages 6 to 14.
• Program will culminate with our Junior Championship
• Cost is $50 per child (which includes prizes and gift for all participants).
• Clubs will be provided for children who don’t have any.

We’ve also got a few updates currently in the works around the facility to share a bit about. First, our maintenance crew is in the process of installing a new, all-weather tee box on our driving range.
This will provide the ability to better maintain our natural range tee by giving the option to periodically shift to the new tee so the turf can regrow. It will also be utilized heavily in the spring and fall when grass is dormant. Look for continued practice facility improvement as the season rolls on.
Also, we’re expanding the patio and pergola area outside of the Caddyshak Bar and Grill. The addition will offer outstanding views of the 18th hole! As you can see, the concrete has been poured…
… and the wood that will be used for the new pergola is being prepared for assembly!
Finally, we wanted to mention that the Caddyshak’s menu has been tweaked a bit from last year to offer a selection of new items alongside some old favorites. The menu can be found HERE. Lunch is served from 11am to 4pm, seven days a week. Breakfast is served from 8am to 12pm, Saturdays and Sundays. Call (715) 634-2460 to book a reservation.

Also, for current or 2020 passholders, just a reminder that our Season Pass Referral Promotion is still in full effect. If you speak to a friend or neighbor, who was not already a passholder last year (2020), and that person then becomes a passholder at your referral, we’re offering you a credit that can be applied towards the purchase of your 2021 pass or, if you’ve already purchased your 2021 pass, general course credit usable in any department (Pro Shop or Caddyshak Bar & Grill). There are three credit tiers:
• $75 for referral resulting in a Couple/Family Pass
• $50 for referral resulting in a Single Pass
• $35 for referral resulting in a Twilight or Young Adult Pass
There are no limitations on the number of referrals you can send our way! This promotion is running through May 15th, 2021.

With the Masters upon us, it truly does finally feel like the golf season has really arrived! This weekend, to celebrate, we’re putting together a few experiences and offerings.
