6th Annual Summer Classic — July 19th

One of our most entertaining summer events is back again this year!

Teams of 2 will compete in flights over the course of 27 holes and 3 different formats (Scramble, Best Ball, Alternate Shot) to determine a champion! The course will be set-up in a unique way to provide the most exciting and compelling event possible!

Event Cost
• $40 for Members
• $75 for Non-Members
• Includes Golf, Prizes, Trophies, and a post-round Meal

Tee Times: 9:20am – 12:30pm on Sunday, July 19th.

First 100 Players.  SKINS GAME Will Be Available.  Sign-up as a twosome or as a foursome. Makes for a great buddy golf outing!

As part of the weekend fun, we’re thrilled to announce the  2nd Annual Summer Classic Long Drive Contest, sponsored by Nelson Lumber, on the Friday evening prior to the event — Friday, July 17th — starting at 6:00pm.

There will be 4 different divisions (Men ages 18-35, 36-50, 51+, and Ladies). Entry fee will be $20. The long drive competition will take place on the Men’s Black Tee on Hole #10, making for an excellent viewing area from the patio. Extremely spectator-friendly! Drink specials will be offered!

Knockout head-to-head matches will determine finalists in each flight. Cash payout for Top 3 finishers in each division.

Northwoods Match Play Sign-Up Now Open

For the eighth consecutive year, we’re hosting our Northwoods Match Play event. We’re just starting to take sign-ups, so plenty of spots remain.

• Use of Handicaps — Any ability level welcome!
• Single Elimination format.
• Open to the public and the membership.
• Cash payout progressively increasing round by round.
• Schedule matches with your opponents at your convenience.
• Entry Fee: $25

The winner will receive the Jim Place Memorial Trophy, in honor of the late former champion. We’re looking to get the bracket filled and have matches started by the weekend of June 20th. If you’re interested in signing-up, call the Pro Shop at (715) 634-2760.

Extended Driving Range Hours / Callaway Iron Sets Special

For those who might prefer some later-evening practice time, we’ve decided to extend the hours of our driving range. It will now be open until the Pro Shop closes for the day (approximately between 8:00 and 8:30pm depending on the day). This will be the daily protocol other than on Tuesdays, when the range will close at 6:30pm so it can be picked clean for the grounds crew, who mow the range on Wednesday mornings.

The Pro Shop is offering a sale on the two sets of Callaway Mavrik irons that we currently have in stock. Each set comes with a free dozen Callaway balls of your choice!
