Hayward Golf Club is continuing its annual tradition of hosting a Fourth of July community picnic and fireworks display! Beginning at 5:00pm in the field behind the Primary and Intermediate Schools, there will be food and drink vendors (with a variety of offerings, including burgers, brats, hot dogs, wings, beer, smoothies, shaved ice, and more!), a DJ, and the Hayward Hawks baseball game (starting at 7:00pm).
The fireworks show will begin after nightfall, roughly at 10:00pm.
As was the case last year, the Caddyshak’s bar will also be open through the evening on the 4th, leading up to the fireworks show. Our patio will provide incredible views of the fireworks, so come on out! Our lot by the Caddyshak offers easy parking, as well.
This is always one of the most fun evenings of our summer season, and we hope you’ll join us to celebrate our nation’s founding!
We are also looking for 5 to 6 volunteers to help with parking and crowd control from the hours of 5:00pm to 9:00pm, as well as one more additional volunteer for clean-up on the morning of July 5th at 7:00am. This Fourth of July picnic was born through the efforts of our membership and is only made possible through the efforts of our current membership taking part.
