Memorial Day Golf

Memorial Day Weekend is usually the unofficial start of the summer season, and it’s a great opportunity to get out on the golf course!

Our tee sheet for the weekend is starting to fill up fast, so if you’re thinking about wanting to play, now would be an excellent time to book a reservation!

Callaway Demo Day – Tuesday, May 22nd

We are once again excited to host a demo day for Callaway on Tuesday, May 22nd. From 1:00pm to 6:00pm, a Callaway rep and our PGA pro, Ben Kanters, will be set up on our driving range, ready to help you try out a variety of the latest equipment. TrackMan technology will also be available to better analyze how Callaway can improve your golf game.

“Roll Back the Clock” Fish Fry Night! – Friday, May 25th

As most of you are probably aware, the Friday Night Fish Fry is a staple of dining life in the Northwoods. It’s basically a cultural tradition up here. For many years, Hayward Golf Club offered a weekly Fish Fry, but with so many establishments in the area providing great offerings, several years ago we made the decision to put our Fish Fry on ice… until now!

On Friday, May 25th, we’re bringing the Fish Fry back for an exclusive, “Roll Back the Clock” night! The price will be $13.99 – all you can eat – and the menu will be:

– Broiled or Deep-Fried Pollock
– “Secret Recipe” Oriental Coleslaw
– Baked Potato or Fresh-Cut French Fries
– Breadsticks

We’re also going to be offering a deep-fried walleye version of this meal for $23.99, but the walleye will not be all you can eat. We will be serving from 5:00pm – 9:00pm.

Also, while we’re treating this as a special, “One Night Only” engagement, and not a return of the weekly Fish Fry, it could possibly pave the way for more down the road depending on the response!

Mother’s Day Brunch Special – Sunday, May 13th

To celebrate Mother’s Day, on this Sunday, May 13th, we’re offering a brunch special in the Caddyshak Bar & Grill, featuring a variety of your breakfast favorites. Available from from 7:00am to 1:00pm.

Also, we’re letting everybody know that we’re cooking up a special “Roll Back the Clock” fish fry night on Friday, May 25th. Details will follow soon, but we wanted to put the word out so folks can mark their calendars!

We’re introducing a new range of products, apparel, and packages to our online store!

First, we’re unveiling an exclusive golf and dining package here at Hayward Golf Club and the Caddyshak Bar & Grill. In effect Sunday through Thursday (but available for purchase at any time), this package will include:
